Lowther Voigt Museum

Lowther and Voigt are regarded among the best British hi-fi manufacturers of all time. The evolution of top quality hi-fi equipment started in 1934 when Paul Voigt designed the classic Voigt Domestic Corner Horn, and continues through to the modern day with Lowther Loudspeakers Ltd's current range of drive units and cabinets.

The Lowther Voigt Museum is a private collection of vintage Lowther and Voigt products dating from the 1930's to the 1970's. The museum is not open to the public, but this website provides a virtual tour of the items in the collection.

Please have a look at our new Readers Systems page, which features photos of vintage Lowther and Voigt systems owned by other enthusiasts. Also see our recent updates.

A comprehensive new book "High Quality Horn Loudspeaker Systems" has been written by Bjørn Kolbrek and Thomas Dunker, which includes material on Lowther and Voigt. For more details please see https://hornspeakersystems.info/
