Lowther LL26

The LL26 was designed for application where an ultra linear response and high power output was required. This was achieved by using two EL34 valves in fixed bias operation, and Lowther boasted that the novel feedback circuitry enabled square wave performance to be maintained over the entire frequency response range. In its sales literature, Lowther stated that the LL26 was "built to laboratory standards".

Earlier LL26 MkI's were produced in the classic green crackle painted finish (1959 - 1967), while the later Mk II versions (1967 - 1975) were produced with a polished steel chassis.
